What will I study?
You will study the purposes of different businesses, their structure, the effect of the external environment, and how they need to be dynamic and innovative to survive. You will develop the skills and understanding to interpret information and data to formulate a rationale and a plan for a marketing campaign. You will learn the importance of personal and business finance. You will calculate and interpret data. You will be encouraged to watch documentaries and news channels from across the globe to help you understand and interpret global business news items and the current economic climate.
How is this course assessed?
You will complete four units, two of which are externally examined.
What can I study with this course?
Many students at DACA choose to study business alongside IT, however it can be studied alongside all courses and will support your entry into higher education and beyond.

Specific entry requirements for this course
A-Level entry requirements
At least four 5s at GCSE. Your English and maths GCSEs must be at least grade 4.
BTEC entry requirements
At least five 4s at GCSE. A grade 4 in math, English language, or literature, and a grade 3 in the other subjects is required.
