Course Overview

Our T-Level in Management & Administration is a two-year Level 3 qualification designed to develop the skills that keep successful organisations moving. Students will gain practical business knowledge alongside valuable experience of real workplaces.

Students will explore a comprehensive range of areas, including:

  • Understanding how organisations operate and make decisions.
  • Exploring business environments, people and workplace communication.
  • Understanding quality, compliance and professional standards.
  • Developing skills in project and change management.
  • Planning and organising information, meetings and business processes.
  • Using digital tools effectively within administration and management.
  • Developing problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
  • Building professional communication, organisation and leadership skills.

Students will also develop occupational skills that prepare them for roles across business support, business improvement, administration, operations and management.

The course can support progression into a wide range of careers, including:

Where does this qualification lead?

Specific entry requirements for this course

To enrol in the course, students must meet the entry criteria of 5 Grade 4s at GCSE, including English and Maths. For those who do not meet the criteria, we offer a foundation year option as a preparatory pathway to the T-Level program, extending the course duration to 3 years in total.

A-Level entry requirements

At least four 5s at GCSE.
Your English and maths GCSEs must be at least grade 4.

BTEC entry requirements

At least five 4s at GCSE. A grade 4 in math, English language, or literature, and a grade 3 in the other subjects is required.

Industry Placement

Our T-Level includes a substantial industry placement of at least 315 hours, giving students the opportunity to work within a real organisation and apply their learning in a professional environment.

Alongside their placement, students will take part in employer-led industry encounters, workplace insights, live projects and practical business challenges.

These experiences allow students to develop their professional confidence while building valuable examples and experience for their CV, applications and future interviews.

Employability Skills

Through our curriculum and employer-led experiences, students will develop essential workplace skills including communication, organisation, teamwork, problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, adaptability and leadership.

Students will also develop the confidence and professional behaviours needed to work effectively with colleagues, customers and stakeholders in a modern organisation.
