D6 Open Evening
Wednesday 1 November saw our D6 open afternoon / evening, hosted by DACA. Along with DACA students, students from Darwen Vale and DAES also attended the event after lunch – it incredibly busy, with a real buzz. Staff from all three schools were present, and lots of useful, subject-specific conversations were had. It was great to see pupils from all three schools mixing and chatting, and the students enjoyed meeting the different members of staff and exploring the course stalls.
Some pupils who attended during the day returned with their parents for another look at our evening event; again, there were lots of great conversations had about the courses on offer. A special thank you to Mrs Sale and Mrs Taylor at DACA for all their hard work getting ready for the day – and their excellent balloon arrangements!
